ἷξον δ᾽ ἐς Πυλίων ἀνδρῶν ἄγυρίν τε καὶ ἕδρας,

ἔνθ᾽ ἄρα Νέστωρ ἧστο σὺν υἱάσιν, ἀμφὶ δ᾽ ἑταῖροι

δαῖτ᾽ ἐντυνόμενοι κρέα τ᾽ ὤπτων ἄλλα τ᾽ ἔπειρον. (Od. 3.31-33)

ἄγυρις gathering, crowd

ἕδρα sitting-place, seat, chair, stool, bench

ἑταῖρος comrade, companion

δαίτη feast, banquet

ἐντύνω equip, deck out, get ready

κρέας flesh, meat

 and they came to the gathering and the companies of the men of Pylos. There Nestor sat with his sons, and round about them his people making ready the feast were roasting some of the meat and putting other pieces on spits.

Telemachus出國旅遊的第一站是: Pylos，一到此地，就看見這一家人團聚的光景，老英雄Nestor和兒子們，還有一堆自家人，齊聚一起，烤肉歡聚。這是平常的一餐，一家人相聚，就是這模樣。
